Group Mediation

Why mediation?

Are you experiencing conflicts, disputes, or other interpersonal challenges in your workplace or business?

Mediation is an active process in which all involved parties have a say as equals, regardless of their status within their particular group. With focuses on negotiation & cooperation, the parties are helped to realise the solution which works best for all involved.

It is no secret that mediation is significantly less expensive than litigation. There is also more control placed in the hands of the parties involved; rather than a third party deciding your fate, you agree upon your outcome.

How does it work?

Mediation can take place online or face to face (at the moment, all mediations through Perch are done remotely).

Prior to the meeting, all/both parties are to complete the referral form. There is then an introductory phase of the meeting, during which time all parties will be able to voice their particular situation. After this, the mediator will speak with both parties, sometimes individually (these individual sessions are called "caucus sessions"). The mediator may play 'devils advocate', but please be assured, this does not mean they have taken a stance, as they are to remain unbiased. Once a common interest, or a means to resolution has been established, both parties are invited to discuss a final agreement.

This agreement is signed by all parties, include the mediator, and is legally binding.

I am an accredited mediator & member of The Mediator Network. For further information, please contact
